Announcing the Top Rated Enterprise Content Management Software for 2019

We are excited to announce the Top Rated Enterprise Content Management Software for 2019! Top Rated awards showcase today’s top-of-the-line products in Enterprise Content Management Software based solely on user feedback and satisfaction scores. These awards make the voice of the market the primary decider into the industry’s best products.

Top Rated awards are the most trusted in the industry because they are never influenced by analyst opinion, the vendor’s size, popularity, or status as a TrustRadius customer.

Here are the winners:

With a TRScore of 8.8 out of 10, m-files is a top rated ecm software for 2019 |

M-Files is an ECM solution that manages data by connecting to, not replacing, existing systems in use by the company. It uses metadata to organize data based on what the data is, not where it is stored. It uses AI to help automatically categorize and organize this data. M-Files still allows for document workflows and task tracking. Choose a cloud based, local install, or hybrid solution for your company. A little more than half (52%) of M-Files users on TrustRadius are from mid-sized companies. Reviewers appreciate M-Files for its mobile application and its search capabilities.

“M-Files is being using by the whole organization to store, retrieve, revise and approve documentation. The system uses metadata properties allowing users to search and view documents quickly and easily, eliminating chaotic network folders; users are no longer required to remember where a file or folder is stored.”

With a TRScore of 8.1 out of 10, box is a top rated ecm software for 2019 |

Box is a cloud-based content and collaboration tool that allows for document upload, storage, and access. Share and collaboration tools allows companies to simplify the way data is managed with employees and customers. Box also integrates with other collaboration and productivity tools, such as Salesforce and DocuSign. Box users on TrustRadius are pretty evenly distributed between small, mid and enterprise level companies. Reviewers consistently like that Box is cloud based for ease of access.

“We used Box across our company to upload and store files on the cloud. We are able to give access to certain folders to certain individuals or teams which allows for privacy. Once an individual has access to a file or folder, we can share links with them that they can use to access from anywhere. We were also able to update files in one spot and all existing links to that file brought users to the updated file.”

Dave Becker | Content Manager | Education Management Company

MS SharePoint

With a TRScore of 7.6 out of 10, MS Sharepoint is a top rated ecm software for 2019 |

MS SharePoint is a web-based collaboration solution from Microsoft. In addition to a comprehensive ECM, MS SharePoint also offers an intranet portal, collaborative software, personal cloud storage, and rapid prototyping of custom web applications. Its ECM features include users access controls, versioning, indexing and search, operational workflows, notifications and approvals, and even web content management. Almost half (47%) of the MS SharePoint users on TrustRadius are enterprise level users. TrustRadius users recommend MS SharePoint for the comprehensive solution it provides to its users: document management and collaboration.

“Microsoft SharePoint is used throughout the company. All sectors have their own workspaces where they share documents, programs, files, etc., and also spaces where information is shared with other sectors, for which various access, reading or writing permits are applied based on each need. Each user also decides if they want to have the information synchronized on their device with a copy of the information or only have access to it in the cloud.”

Celeste Rio | System Engineer in Technology | Telecommunications

Congratulations to the winners of the Top Rated Enterprise Content Management Software Award!

What is Enterprise Content Management Software?

Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Software is a set of tools that allows an organization to capture, manage, store, preserve and deliver information and documents. The management of the lifecycle of information typically ends when the content is archived or destroyed. Active management of these processes are necessary to ensure an organization is in compliance with any regulatory or security criteria.

An organization will benefit from ECM software by reducing the amount of time spent working on an organization’s documents and records, which leads to increased efficiency and reliability. Increases in data security, by utilizing permissions and user authentication, reduces risk for unauthorized data breaches. Finally, having instant access to user records or documents increases satisfaction from employees, business stakeholders and customers.
