Some products may focus more on survey design and include a range of survey question types and logic, while other tools may focus more on reporting and offer advanced statistical results analysis. These tools have a wide application and are used across industries for things like customer satisfaction surveys, employee feedback surveys, and market / academic research. Common survey & forms building tools features include various survey formats (e.g. online, print, or phone), survey templates and layouts, response collection, question types to choose from (e.g. multiple choice, single select, sliding scale, matrix questions, open-text), question logic options (e.g. conditional, branching, random), and results reporting and analysis.
