- Blackbaud: Blackbaud continues to advance its commitment to corporate responsibility, with a focus on creating positive impacts for its customers, communities, and the environment. In the past year, the Blackbaud team has made huge progress in its decarbonization strategy by reducing its carbon footprint and improving energy efficiency across its global operations. They maintained carbon neutrality by procuring carbon removal offsets for Scope 1 and select Scope 3 emissions categories, underscoring its dedication to environmental stewardship. “Our sustainability efforts are a direct reflection of our mission to power social impact while leading by example,” says Kriti Alu, Director of People and Culture. These actions highlight Blackbaud’s role as a leader in building a more sustainable future.
- Braze: Braze’s Science-Based Targets Initiative has approved the team’s near-term emissions reduction goals, which focus on lowering greenhouse gas emissions in both direct operations and the broader value chain. To help achieve these goals, Braze has invested in clean energy through a long-term Virtual Power Purchase Agreement that funded new solar facilities in Michigan. These projects will provide renewable power and help avoid significant carbon emissions in one of the most carbon-intensive regions of the United States. “It’s a sign of meaningful progress and a reminder that companies of all sizes have a role to play in accelerating the shift to a low-carbon economy,” says Blair Pettit, Social Impact Leader. By tracking its environmental impact and making sustainable choices for its workplaces, the Braze team continues to hold itself accountable and create measurable positive change for the planet.<
- Cisco: Cisco continues to lead in environmental sustainability, with 96 percent of the electricity used in its facilities worldwide coming from renewable sources. In the past year, the company implemented 27 energy efficiency projects, avoiding about 1.3 GWh of energy use and 850 metric tons of CO2- emissions annually. The launch of the Sustainability Data Foundation created an internal platform for automated emissions accounting and carbon footprint reporting, helping Cisco and its customers better track environmental impact. “Cisco’s commitment to sustainability is not just about meeting targets—it is about setting new standards for innovation and responsibility,” says Ross Marchant, Digital Marketing Manager. Cisco’s leadership has earned it a place on the CDP Climate A List eight times in the past nine years. Several Cisco Catalyst 9000 Switches also achieved ENERGY STAR certification in the Large Network Equipment category, placing Cisco among the first companies with certified products in this space, and the company was recognized as an Impact Award recipient by SustainableIT.org.
- ISL Online: ISL Online prioritizes environmental responsibility, recently earning the ISO 14001 certification, which provides structured guidelines to measure and continually improve environmental performance. As Barbara Viskovic, Marketing and Public Relations Specialist, noted in a recent blog reflecting on the company’s growth, the software enables users to reduce travel through remote work, helping companies minimize their environmental impact. This focus on corporate social responsibility underscores ISL Online’s dedication to building a safer, more sustainable future for businesses and communities worldwide.
- UKG: UKG is dedicated to minimizing its environmental footprint and creating sustainability in all aspects of its operations. Guided by its Global Environmental Policy, the UKG team measures and reduces greenhouse gas emissions, improves energy efficiency, and explores renewable energy options. By promoting sustainable procurement, UKG advances its mission to “create great places to work and even better places to live,” making environmental responsibility a core part of its culture. They also optimize resource use through energy-efficient equipment, responsible e-waste disposal, recycling, composting, and sourcing sustainable merchandise with reduced waste.
Volunteerism

- Algolia: Algolia actively supports employee-led community impact through its team-wide commitment to volunteerism. In the last year, the company hosted 12 different in-person volunteer events as part of its November Giving Day, with 30% of Algolians participating and supporting 44 nonprofits. “Algolia continues to champion employee-driven social and community impact through its participation in the Pledge 1% initiative, dedicating 1% of employee time to volunteerism,” says Lisa Coulouris, Director of Public Relations. Alongside this annual event, the Algolia team also receives two paid volunteer days each year to support causes they care about, allowing them to make a difference both individually and as a team.
- Riskified: Volunteering is at the heart of Riskified’s culture, with over 220 employees worldwide dedicating more than 1,220 hours across 88 events in partnership with 40 nonprofit organizations. “These initiatives reflect the company’s commitment to making a meaningful global impact through strategic, scalable volunteering,” says Bar Sananes, Corporate Social Responsibility & Employer Branding Expert. Their efforts span a wide range of causes, from supporting animal welfare to empowering at-risk youth through surfing programs. Through mentoring sessions with young professionals from underserved communities, their team has offered career guidance, skills development, and personal support to help participants navigate their professional journeys with confidence. They also support their community through initiatives such as food distribution during the holiday season and volunteer visits to nursing homes.

TOPdesk: TOPdesk fosters a strong culture of volunteerism by encouraging its team to pursue their own initiatives or connect with causes through partnerships like NLcares in the Netherlands. As Sanne van Opstal-Brakel, Customer Marketing Manager, said, “What I love about my option to spend my volunteering time is that I spent it in the parental council at the primary school of my girls. This way I get to help the school make even more fun and at the same time learn more about the educational world as a whole.” Volunteer efforts span the globe, from Delft’s IT security team teaching digital skills to non-technical audiences, to Australia’s BeachPatrol cleanup that removed 16 kg of trash, to Hungary’s wide-ranging contributions, such as supporting underprivileged children, visiting animal shelters, cleaning riverbanks, and leading inclusive choirs for adults with disabilities.
- Tricentis: Tricentis demonstrates its commitment to giving back by supporting local communities through volunteer work. Recently, the Corporate Marketing team partnered with the Central Texas Food Bank, the largest hunger relief charity in the region. Their efforts helped provide 7,200 healthy meals, making a direct impact in the fight against hunger and ensuring more people have access to nutritious food.
- Zendesk: More than 730 employees volunteered over 6,300 hours with 90 global nonprofits, and nonprofits using Zendesk’s Tech for Good program solved over 1.1 million tickets in the past year. Volunteering is central to Zendesk’s culture, with opportunities to connect employees in person and virtually to causes they care about. “Investing my time in social impact work is an amazing way for me to give back to society, meet like-minded people, and work on greater causes for the good. Getting involved brings so much positivity to my days as well as fuels good relationships at work by building trust and engagement at all levels,” shared Sahitya Pidaparthi, Senior Executive Assistant, Product Dev Program Management in Zendesk’s Annual Global Impact Report. Through programs like Global Impact Week, pro bono volunteering, and partnerships such as Team4Tech, the Zendesk team shares their skills, helps strengthen their communities, and amplifies compassion around the world.
Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI)

- Datadog: Datadog is committed to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion by reflecting the many experiences and identities of the world and creating an environment where everyone can succeed. Through employee-driven Community Guilds such as AMPED, BiT, DINAdogs, Parents and Guardians, Rainbowdogs, Somos, Veterans, and Women of Datadog, the company builds spaces for connection, collaboration, and belonging. This Disability Pride Month, Datadog highlighted DINAdogs on LinkedIn as a guild for neurodivergent individuals and those with disabilities or invisible illnesses. “As a new manager with personal and professional ties to neurodiversity and disability, I wanted to better understand how to navigate these topics thoughtfully and confidently in the workplace. Their diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts include seven employee-led resource groups that foster mentorship, connection, and professional growth while celebrating culture and identity. The PitchBook team also highlights representation in finance through initiatives like the PitchBook All In report and Female Founder Dashboard, which track industry trends and surface opportunities to improve inclusion. With immersive heritage month programming and partnerships with local businesses, PitchBook extends its impact beyond the workplace and into the broader community.

TriNet: TriNet is committed to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion through its Culture of Belonging initiatives to create a more inclusive workplace. The TriNet team earned a 95 out of 100 rating on the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index for 2023–2024. In the last year, Ashley Dyslin, Customer Marketing Manager, shared that a monthly series, Bridges to Accessibility Inclusion, launched and “focused on various workplace accessibility topics, including Intro to Sign Language, Unraveling Ableist Language, and Visible and Invisible Disabilities.” The Wellness Wednesdays program also expanded to include a monthly financial series and Connect Fridays, a weekly session dedicated to health, wellness, team bonding, and open colleague discussions. Additionally, TriNet opened a new office in Hyderabad, strengthening its investment in diverse talent and the local community.

- BrowserStack: “BrowserStack cofounders commit[ted] Rs 100 crore to IIT Bombay,” shared Sharmila Chakravorty, Product Marketing Manager. This pledge by cofounders Nakul Aggarwal and Ritesh Arora, both alumni of the institute, reflects the company’s strong commitment to supporting their community. The funds are slated to be used to upgrade student housing as part of the ‘Project Evergreen’ initiative. Renovations will include Hostel 6, where the cofounders once lived, along with modernizations for three others.
- ECI Software Solutions: ECI’s core values, called CODE, stand for Crave greatness, Own the outcome, Deliver awesome, and Embrace community. These values guide programs that support employees and give back to communities through charitable donations. The ECI Cares program offers confidential financial help of up to $5,000 for team members facing hardship. The Community Heartbeat program recognizes employees who make a difference in their communities or support social causes, giving a $500 donation to the charities they choose. Each year, the Everyday Hero Award celebrates customers who have made outstanding contributions to their communities, with up to $10,000 donated to each finalist’s chosen charity.
- Prophix Software: The Prophix team made two $50,000 Purpose Project donations to employee-nominated charities. “Truly inspiring to see the reach of our Purpose Project donations,” says Stephanie O’Halloran, Executive Director of CSR. She shared that the recent donation to Sadagaat Canada provided over 60,000 meals to 2,000 people in Sudan for 30 days, offering critical support to children, the elderly, and displaced families. The donation to the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides will help provide specially trained service dogs to Canadians with medical or physical disabilities, free of charge. These contributions reflect Prophix’s belief in using its resources to create meaningful, real-world change.
- Zoom: Zoom has contributed over $60 million to global nonprofits, supporting and connecting communities through philanthropy, people, and products. They have built several partnerships with mission-driven organizations, including the Millennium Campus Network, which provides leadership training for students; The World Around, which supports young innovators developing solutions to the climate crisis; and WeProtect Global Alliance, which works to create safer digital spaces for children. “Our philanthropic partnerships allow us to empower change-makers around the world by giving them the tools and resources to connect, collaborate, and create impact,” says Camille Shortridge, Customer Advocacy Marketing Manager. Through grants and crisis response funding, the team at Zoom also supports initiatives such as Daughters of Tomorrow in Singapore, iCALL at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences in India, and the Japanese Red Cross Society’s earthquake relief.

- Intuit Mailchimp: Intuit Mailchimp focuses its community impact on supporting nonprofits in 12 cities with diverse populations that drive local culture and innovation. Through its “Big Change Starts Small” program, the team shares marketing expertise and tools with small world changers to help them grow, strengthen communities, and support the small businesses that help them thrive. The Forward Project, a $750,000 grant program, helps often overlooked organizations increase their community impact work. With unrestricted funding, the program addresses the challenges small organizations face in building their capacity for social impact. Some of Intuit Mailchimp’s grantees include the Counter Narrative Project, which is using the grant to advance its digital mobilization strategy and fight stigma affecting Black gay men and the broader Black LGBTQ community, and Hand, Heart and Soul Project & Little Ones Learning Center, which are partnering to strengthen food security and open a new learning center in Clayton County, Georgia focused on health, education, wellness, and nutrition. Through these efforts, the Intuit Mailchimp team is shaping programs that will help more organizations increase their impact in the future.
- SysAid Technologies: SysAid’s dedication to communities, employees, and the planet inspires its team to actively engage and give back. From local volunteer projects to global initiatives, the company supports education, promotes employee well-being, and advances sustainability efforts. “We continued our beloved tradition of volunteering with The Jaffa Institute—packing and delivering food for those in need,” shares Oneg Fryd, Employee Experience Specialist, in a personal LinkedIn post earlier this year. Additional initiatives include a worldwide Volunteer Day at The Jaffa Institute, Earth Day clean-up activities, sourcing holiday gifts from eco-friendly, community-focused suppliers, and preserving history by hearing and sharing testimonies from Holocaust survivors’ families.
- Vena Solutions: Vena Solutions is committed to making a meaningful difference in the communities where its employees live and work, with giving back deeply embedded in its culture. - Verint: Verint’s third annual Global Day of Giving marked a milestone in community impact, with record participation, hours contributed, and events held by its dedicated “Verinteers.” This year, the India team spent the day at Sri Basaveshwara Rural High School in Bangalore, helping with campus cleanup, serving meals, and engaging students in cricket, volleyball, and interactive learning sessions. They also renovated the boys’ washroom, creating a clean and safe space, and led sessions on personal hygiene and water conservation. “The energy, curiosity and gratitude we saw in the students reminded us why community engagement is at the heart of what we do,” shared Dharani Medappa, Sr. Director of Human Resources. Verint continues to foster a culture where small acts of kindness create meaningful change in the communities they serve.

Central to these efforts is the Epicor Employee Assistance Fund, which provides immediate financial help to eligible employees facing unforeseen personal hardships. Administered independently, the fund is supported by contributions from Epicor, its partners, employees, and the public, ensuring grants are available when they are needed most.
- Exclaimer: Exclaimer places mental health at the heart of its culture, offering resources, activities, and support through its wellbeing team, “Exclaimer Thrive.” Their team has access to tools like the Calm app for mindfulness, Blinkist for continuous learning, and gym memberships and fitness classes to promote physical health. As Event Manager Alina Toderenchuk shared, “The culture here is amazing—we have talented professionals and great people. When I showed interest in a new field, leadership supported me right away, suggesting courses and connecting me with experts.” Internal initiatives such as meditation sessions, resilience workshops, book clubs, and recognition programs like #CelebrateSuccess have fostered connection and appreciation across the company.
- GoTo: GoTo places a strong emphasis on employee wellbeing and development, offering flexible work arrangements, comprehensive benefits, and programs that empower employees to thrive both personally and professionally. From mental health support and self-care days to development initiatives like “GoTo Grow,” they foster a culture of learning, connection, and growth. As Michael Harris, Global Community & Corporate Responsibility Coordinator, shares, “We empower our employees to do their best work from anywhere, leading from a position of trust and in response to the feedback that we have received from our employees.” With a remote-first approach, financial support for home office setups, and a wide range of professional development resources, GoTo enables its “GoGetters” to balance work, family, and personal passions.
- ScienceLogic: ScienceLogic supports employee well-being and growth by fostering a strong hybrid work culture. Their Empower U onboarding program includes new modules that help employees succeed in digital collaboration and set healthy boundaries while working remotely. To promote focus and reduce burnout, ScienceLogic also introduced “Focus Fridays,” a no-meeting policy that gives employees uninterrupted time to recharge or concentrate on strategic projects. - Ideagen: Ideagen is dedicated to advancing opportunities for women in technology through both community outreach and internal initiatives. Since 2019, its Women in Tech partnership with Nottingham Girls Academy has worked to challenge gender stereotypes and highlight female role models. Each year, sixth-form students visit Ideagen’s headquarters to enhance their IT learning, gain career fair support, and connect with BE LIKE ME role models who offer inspiration and advice. Internally, the Women in Ideagen Network promotes gender diversity by providing mentorship and career development opportunities, while the Women of Impact campaign celebrates and amplifies the voices of female employees. - OneCause: “Over the years, we have exhibited at their Indy Women in Tech Expo and presented a well-received educational session on leadership,” shares Jennifer Haffey, Email Marketing Specialist at OneCause. OneCause partners with Indy Women in Tech yearly to support their mission: inspiring women and girls of all ages to pursue STEM careers in Indiana. - Talkdesk: Talkdesk celebrates and empowers women in technology through initiatives like its 2025 International Women’s Day campaign, which recognized more than 250 nominees from among its customers, partners, and employees. Throughout March, the company highlighted these women’s insights on leadership in customer experience, sharing their advice on emotional intelligence, networking, mentorship, and continuous learning through multiple channels. One of the company’s standout programs, Women of Wrike, is an employee resource group that was founded in 2017 to provide mentorship, networking, and development opportunities for women across the organization. Efforts include building STEM labs in India, funding marine biology education in the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada, and promoting digital literacy in rural Texas and Nepal. “Our FY25 impact is not only broad in scope but deeply aligned with global frameworks such as the UN Sustainable Development Goals, the UN Global Compact, and the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive,” says Claire Murphy, Peer Review Programs Manager. Through programs like Robotex India, which connected over 3,468 young students to STEM, robotics, IoT, AI, and ML education and built three STEM labs in Pune government schools, the BMC team is expanding access to quality learning and preparing students with the skills they need for the future.
